In the annual meeting of the Chiemsee Tourist Board, the cross-border EU-project "eTourism Fitness for Upper Bavaria and Salzburg" was presented. This new EU project with the Fachhochschule Salzburg and Upper Bavaria Tourism as the main partner (another 10 + partners) will open the lessors of the project area, a door on how to deal with the Internet and access to new marketing tools. At the annual meeting of the Chiemsee Tourist Board (CTV) presented the Bernau coordinators Dr. Mario Jooss, FH Salzburg, and Isabella Müller, TVB Upper Bavaria, before the project. On 22 April is the first of three free Internet classes at the Chiemsee. The dates for the courses in the partner regions Gastein, Lammertal, Zell am See / Kaprun, Tegernsee, Chiemgau and Garmisch Partenkirchen and the associated application can be found immediately online http://www.etourism-fitness.com/ or call the Tourist Upper Bavaria, Tel 089-82921817. The courses provide basic knowledge to include the subject site, marketing and sales, legal foundations, and service orientation.
Other project priorities are a destination for eCoach training staff in the project region, a eTourism monitoring, the annual major event "Focus on e-tourism" and a benchmarking analysis of the structure in the project region.
