23rd Birthday Party Invitation Wording

Arrived ...

... I am now in beautiful Stockholm. But after one of the first row. After our pack mules converted to the car car was initially parked safely at the hotel, the city then screamed to be explored.

Full program was announced: The mandatory purchase tour the old town, postcards, little boat (how the hell write these diminutive actually really go?), watching islands. The absolute highlight (besides the really nice old town "Gamla Stan") for me: the Vasa Museum. And no! Here the highlights are not issued Swedish crispbread-back art, but the highlight of royal megalomania. King Gustav II Adolf came during the 30 years war on the brilliant idea to build a stylish new flagship for its fleet. So just as quickly in 1000 oaks were cut down and built enough guns to equip this one ship with more firepower than the entire Polish fleet. As this pile of guns, unfortunately not quite passs wanted a deck, the Vasa, of course, took a second gun deck. Unfortunately, you probably forgot to change the proportions and the ballast according to what turned out to be rather unfavorable. After trying the chic little ship - painted in bright colors and with plenty of nasty, scary decorated figures and faces - leaving the port, the maiden voyage ended on 10 August 1628 in the Stockholm harbor. And under water.

fell after 333 years, the Stockholm suddenly that they had once a very handsome flagship, which you could slowly raise it again. And again 20 years later was a good piece preserved and with a beautiful museum drumrum the public access provided. Highly recommended, even if an otherwise at the thought of the Swedish general and maritime history through rather less joyful showers. Also recommended is

Skansen, the first open air museum in the world. Here the 150 most beautiful and representative huts were collected from all over Sweden in order to provide a cross section of Swedish life and Crafts tradition. And here you can finally do the time, making the most fun on vacation: sit and watch others at work. And my fears to be in Sweden for six months without seeing moose have been shattered. This relaxed colleague here lounging around lazily in front of my camera:

And then on Monday: dorm romance. After we had our beloved Navi (beide!) once again happy 1 ½ hours shooed across the city, not to lead us even in the vicinity of my residence hall complex, we saw the student magnificent buildings of the 60s. To distract from the uniform gray nostalgic, a resourceful man came to the colorful idea to paint the window frames yellow and blue. Since my room is on the first floor and find quite good, everything was allowed to happen. After a short farewell was the bare minimum set up and I tried to get to know the people on my floor closer. Oh yes, I was very surprised to living here (ed) very nice people. Why in the last sentence of the "t" in brackets? Because about half of the nice people I met here within the next few days packed her bags and moved out. But the remaining and newly drawn to cooking area are all very sympathetic contemporaries. And we even have a "Guy on the Couch" which in our case but rather a "Girl on the couch," and although an Australian, which - also because of their living here best friend - find our material probably much cozier than their own Residence. These two Austalierinnen spend much of their time to review various student parties and the Stockholm nightlife to beer prices, choice of music and dance ability. Very practical and is extremely amusing source of information.

Our corridor bulkheads had unfortunately his last evening when I arrived, but made with beer mug and kilt and a very nice impression. In addition, live here a few German, Asian, and several Europeans.

whole, it is obviously quite comfortable living here, my room is large enough and with what is most necessary (bathroom, electricity, Internet) equipped, the rest was luckily quite fast inexpensive get at Ikea. Above all, the carpet, which makes the room only really comfortable. But do yourself a picture ... or Stop! Wait! I've already done for you:

Maroon And Silver Wedding Cake

's go, let's go ...

... and fortunately not awake 3 days, but only 2 days of travel a little sleep. Every morning at seven the nasty alarm clock rings to be ignored for now could. The night before was of a rather marked lack of sleep, because some are still so packed and cleaned up wanted. So, albeit reluctantly, out of bed and into the shower, quickly thrown a further 1 ½ rolls and off you go. On to Lübeck / Travemünde to the ferry. On the way a little quick tour of the (beautiful!) Old Town of Lübeck. The visit to the house of the shipping company for nourishment could be (lucky them) would not be left out, because here is understood in historical and maritime environment to cook. visit

The attempt in Travemünde more quickly Passat , the sister ship sunk in 1957 Pamir , failed in the election of the river ... it obviously has the Pamirs on the opposite bank made comfortable. But for one or the other photo, she could still serve as a backdrop:

by ice and espresso compensated for the loss of nautical delights was the Scandinavia, more specifically to pass in waiting ferry, the next goal.

Yes, this ferry. It went from Travemünde to Trelleborg. Quite nice boat, the "Holgerson" if was not too busy. For it was in the Panorama Lounge offer entertainment at its finest. An entertainer, we call him times, "General Midi", which, while certainly in stature and hair Goetz Kühnemund possible, unfortunately, did not share but whose music taste, we were spoiled with country music and instrumental classics, accompanied by the finest MIDI sound. Bontempi late, but all the more painful revenge. Somehow, he looked sad. All alone in his - as a pirate ship decorated - corner.

this was the bar staff friendly, good-humored and also by the horde of pubescent mini-Sweden annoyed that holds the later hours rather sparse, the "dance floor" before General MIDI was uncertain. The Dutch trucker saw the two next to me seems similar to what led to spontaneous common beer consumption in order to international understanding. As a general Midi underlined then against 12 non-existing sailing his pirate ship was the folding bed in the cabin, a welcome mat for in-depth reflections of my eyelids. From within.

made the gentle, slightly accented voice of the receptionist afflicted us the next morning to point out that would be available in the hotel breakfast buffet. Yieha! Eggs, sausages, bacon, 2 rolls, accompanied by apple juice, water and milk are a brilliant start to the day. However, quite a piece, because suddenly it was our proud ocean cruisers in the port of Trelleborg is run (luckily not so much that we could not fit in *). If you

want to go from Trelleborg to Stockholm, the purchase of a car with cruise control car is recommended. Because that can safely just outside the town of Trelleborg set up to allow 110 km / h and issue after about 5-6 hours in Stockholm again. Roads in southern Sweden (or is it yet motorways? We could not quite sure ...) are in fact a phenomenon. Splendid little traffic, very few small construction sites, landscape and a lot of high-quality coating. And if you are lucky enough to drive a piece of the coast, you can even see out of the usual trees, a beautiful coastal landscape, garnished with boats, beaches and rocks. And water.

seems a rather strange hobby of Sweden to sit on pole impaled aircraft on the roadside to be. This one, unfortunately not quite perfect, photo, such an installation:

A rather unpleasant hobby our navigation system on the other hand it is to lead us astray. Maybe it was also on the rather rudimentary directions of the tour operator for the hotel. Or simply the fact that I have no sense of direction. Too bad, too. As the saying goes: ". People with no sense of direction to see much more of the world" I can only agree.

After a generous Extra round of Stockholm's suburbs, we are in any case finally arrived at the hotel. Hard to believe, in my room is even a refrigerator. I hope he does. Shine's doing before. And yet another terrific technical achievement expressed around on my bedroom wall: a trouser press Platt machine! Brand name "Edward". I'll call him Eddie. Three cheers to technology. Hurrah! Hurrah! Hurrah!

Now I'm looking forward to the city. And in my dorm room, so I can relate because on Monday. Then there's also some news and photos.

pleasant evening! The

Michi
